Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HomiApp ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted to these terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
2. Description of Service
HomiApp is a Progressive Web App (PWA) Software as a Service (SaaS) platform designed for appliance repair businesses and independent technicians in the United States. The Service allows you to manage:
- Appointment and job scheduling
- Customer management
- Invoice and quote generation
- Team and technician tracking
- Routes and job locations
3. Registration and Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. Authentication is managed through Firebase Authentication.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
One account corresponds to one business. The business administrator is responsible for managing technician access within their organization.
4. Plans and Billing
HomiApp offers the following monthly subscription plans:
- Base — $39/month: For the independent technician. Unlimited jobs, branded invoices, customer management.
- Team — $99/month: For businesses with a team. Up to 4 people, per-technician calendar, admin panel.
- Premium — $199/month: For growing businesses. Unlimited technicians, real-time GPS, full control.
Prices may change with at least 30 days prior notice. Payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
HomiApp may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial period, the selected plan fee will apply.
5. Acceptable Use
By using the Service, you agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or abusive content through the Service
- Attempt to access data from other businesses or users
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Interfere with the operation of the Service or its servers
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.
6. Intellectual Property
Our software: HomiApp, including its source code, design, logos, trademarks, and documentation, is the exclusive property of HomiApp. You do not acquire any ownership rights over the software by subscribing to the Service.
Your data: You retain all rights to the data you enter into the Service, including customer information, jobs, invoices, and any other content you create. HomiApp does not claim ownership over your data.
7. Privacy
The use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms of Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
HomiApp shall not be liable for:
- Data loss due to circumstances beyond our control
- Temporary Service interruptions due to maintenance or updates
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service
- Loss of revenue or profits related to the use or inability to use the Service
In no event shall HomiApp's total liability exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months of subscription.
9. Termination of Service
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
- Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation
- You may request an export of your data before it is deleted
HomiApp reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- You fail to make the corresponding payments
- You use the Service in a way that harms other users or the Service itself
10. Changes to Terms
HomiApp reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect upon being posted on this page.
For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email at least 30 days in advance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute related to these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of the State of Florida.
